Derek Hopkins, President, US CommercialDerek Hopkins joined Keurig in October 2015 and was appointed President, US Commercial in January 2016. In this role, Derek has responsibility for all commercial and sales activities for Keurig’s US At Home and Away from Home business as well as all product management in the region.
Derek brings significant experience to Keurig with over 20-years of leadership in the consumer goods industry. Derek joined Keurig from Bacardi Inc., where he served as the SVP, Head of Commercial and oversaw the commercial group for the US business, the Company’s largest unit globally. Derek has held a number of commercial, marketing, strategy, and general management roles managing businesses with revenues ranging up to $4 billion and teams of +2,000 employees. Over his career, Derek has worked for a number world class beverage companies including Coca-Cola, AB InBev, and Guinness Diageo.
Derek serves as a Member of the Board of the South Florida YMCA. He holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Texas Wesleyan University and has completed an Advanced Management Program with INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France and The Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia, PA.
