Q: How would you describe the culture of Castroville?
A: Everyone is very happy and laid back. There are a lot of local festivals and events.
Q: What are the highlights of the area?
A: The weather! It’s generally 65- to 75-degrees every day. It is right on the beach so the scenery is beautiful and being right on Route 1 is great! There’s also a fantastic variety of restaurants to chose from.
Q: Any fun facts about Castroville?
A: It’s considered “The Artichoke Capital of the World.” There are so many artichokes it’s almost ridiculous! The artichoke festival held every year is a definitely a must-see.
